TTC

Cycle 20, CD 1. OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!

Not the cramps. Actually, the cramps weren’t too bad. It was the right side. Pullign tugging. I have a friend who had cysts and didn’t know it, that went into the hospital because she thought she had appendicitis. I totally, completely get that. I got about 2 or 2.5 hours of sleep last night, at most, because Ihad to lay in a specific position and not move an inch, or it HURT. I took Adville, and some of ZK
s Tylenol III, [Yes, bad girl], and neither one did anything for the pain. Killled the cramps, but left the pain. I was *THIS* close to running to beg for something stronger, but it finally eased off enough for me to stand straight about noon. About when teh bleeding started, oddly enough. Now it’s tender enough that if I move the wrong way I get a stab, but Ican move and breath reasonably deeply. I’m telling you, onmce we’re done with the TTC thing, I want them to take the works out, or something. Man

Holy cramp my style, batman!

February 17, 2008

I cut my finger on the very tip. My middle finger, that i do almost everything with . [Get your minds out of the gutter]. [Originally I wrote butter instead of gutter and didn't catch it until the 20th. For some reason, this struck me as incredibly funny.] Anyway, it must not be a big cut, since it really hurts! Ugh!

About the kids.

The Bug turned 6 a week and a half ago. If I had to think of one word to describe him, it’d be imaginative. Everything has the potential to be turned into something else. He loves hunting and his pretend frequently involves this. He also loves animals, nature, dinosaurs, music, and … food *grin* Since September, he’s learned to write all of his letters and numbers, spell the names of everyone in the family and some words besides, can read all of the letters but can only put them together in a few cases where he’s memorized the words, and to tell time. He’s currently learning how to tell the date on a calendar.

The Cat will turn 5in March. One word to describe her would be a princess, although she does have tom-boy tendancies. When she grows up I can see her hiking through the woods while wearing fake nails and lipstick. The world must be her way, or she whines until it is made so. [Man I dislike the whiny stage!] She’s pretty much keeping up with the Bug where school is concerned, although she does have a little more trouble reading letters when they’re in along string. If she’s trying to spell out a word like waterfall, she’ll start with a confused “Upside down M …” Her interests are cooking, the My Little Ponies set she got for Christmas, writing, drawing, and pretending with her brother, although the Bug generally sets up the scene and she plays along. She’s such a girl, and will argue for 5 or 10 minutes over which shirt she should wear, or what colour socks.

The Hound [An odd nickname I know, but it works for us.:P] will be 2 in 3 weeks or so. He is by far the most high needs of the 3 at that age. He takes the Cat’s tendancy to need things her way to a whole new level. He’s recently discovered the power of a high pitched, shrill, everlasting SCREAM! Oh, my! He’s got quite the MR. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde complex, from the scream to giggly in 2 seconds flat, or vice versa. He seems to me to have more personality at this age than the other 2 did, although it’s probably just that he’s quite a bit mor vocal about it. He talks, quiat e abit now including 2 word sentences, giggles, screams, cries, sings, and is generally quite noisy, which is good for me. He also took the extra 2 IQ points he got from breastfeeding and turns them into mischief. The things I didn’t have to worry about with the other 2 for at least a year yet have been in his repretoire for months. He was climbing the bunk beds at 15 months old. He’s a true joy, and atrue trial, all at once. My major concern with him at the moment is violent behavior towards his siblings and me. He hits and occasionally bites. We’re working on it.

Hi!

January 17, 2008

Hi.  I’m a totally blind Stay-At-Home mom of 3, trying for #4.  My interests are babies, of course, birth, books, reading, friends and computers.  *grin*  I’ve been blogging for years at one of the other sights, but decided to try my hand here.
